Met some HB8's at the bar, tried gaming one of them but couldn't manage an isolate. (there was a group of guys trying to cut in the whole time I was with this group, they were practically circling like sharks.) These girls only stopped to get to know me because i had stopped to chat with a friend of theirs a few times earlier in the evening and they'd happened to see me talking to him. (helpful hint, talk to everybody in the bar like they're old friends. Guy's, girls, bartenders, you name it. Social cred.) The whole time I'm playing the girls off eachother. One guy keeps distracting one of the girls and pulling her aside, but she keeps wandering back to listen in on my conversation. I more or less ignore her as I try to play the other 2 off each other and plan a strategy to isolate. I never manage to do it, but we're all going in the same direction home so we split a cab. At this point my target is throwing up from all the booze, and really cranky so I'm just chatting up the other two. it's 4am, I'm exhausted and I'm not thinking game anymore. I'm thinking sleep. So as we part ways, one of them pipes up. "facebook! I need to tag you in all the pictures we took" She got some great pics of me having fun with a lot of different people so I figure why not. social cred on facebook is always good. I pass her my iphone to find herself on facebook. She adds the other 2 hb8's too. Later the pic's go up. I put in a few witty comments, tease each of them a little bit. The only one who show's any response is the one who kept getting pulled aside and couldn't spend time chatting with me. I chat her up in messages a little bit, tell her I'm going out to an event for drinks and live music in a few day's and she should come. She say's she'd love to, but she's not sure because of a paper she has to write. I tease her a bit for having never been to this event. (it's a popular one in this area) and tell her to give me her phone number and we'll sort it out closer to the date.

Radio silence ever since. She hasn't replied, and I refuse to reply to her lack of reply.

One thing I've learned about myself is I'm needy and clingy in situations like this. It drives me nuts that she hasn't said anything. so I'm trying to teach myself to let go and not sweat it so much.

If she get's in touch with me before the date of the event I'm going to proceed as planned.

But what I don't know how to deal with is the scenario where she get's in touch with me on the day of the event? (either to cancel the non-solidified plans? or to give them a last minute go ahead)

I'm seriously thinking that if she contacts me the day of, I want to tell her that she hadn't gotten back to me sooner so I went ahead and made other plans. Sorry.

Otherwise I feel like I'm a last minute plan. She couldn't come up with anything else to do that night, so she'll hang out with me.

What does seddit think?

TLDR: someone tell me how to deal with girls who leave potential plans hanging to the last second before committing?

EDIT 2: People seam to me completely missing the point of what I'm trying to ask, so I'll try again. Imagine you invite a girl to drinks for Friday. She say's maybe, and drops communication. (obviously she just said no. so you move on) Then you get a phone call or a text on Friday saying she's up for drinks tonight. What do you say? If you say yes, doesn't it make it seam like you're a last minute backup date for her? or you were waiting by the phone all week for her to get back to you?

What if she texts you on friday to say no? because she knows she left you hanging? (which means she's already built up the image that you really are waiting by the phone for her. not a good image to have) How do I diffuse that?
