Depends on the level of information you gathered, what was she reading?, how far into the book was she?, what was she looking at on her laptop?, was the laptop plugged into power? This quick cold reading should give you enough information to find her again.

Yes. And probably creepy. The only way to know is to observe her, rather than looking for some sort of ruling from us, as if we can read her mind.

The best way would be to non-verbally interact first. Eye contact. Smile. Maybe wave. If she responds positively to that, then you definitely have the green light to say hi and ask what she's working on, etc.
