Alright so the other day I (M22) went to this church thing because I’m going to be a sponsor for my sister so I had to attend this like conference basically. There’s this really cute girl I’ve been wanting to approach for quite a while since I’ve seen her at Sunday mass for about a year now but I haven’t approached her since it’s only during church and when church ends she leaves right away with her family. So when I saw that she was also gonna be a sponsor for her younger sister and she was alone I told myself now’s the time to finally approach her! We entered the church she sat kinda at the back by herself since most of the sponsors are adults like over 35 years old and she’s 19 (I asked her). I asked if I could sit next to her which she said yeah. I introduced myself and shook her hand and she told me her name. 5-10 mins into me talking to her I kinda just handed her my phone with the contacts app open basically implying that I want her number she looked at my phone and said “oh okay” and added her phone number. Then I was like kinda asking her out by like asking I’m not really sure anymore but it was obvious that I was basically asking her out on a date. She then kinda paused and was like kinda struggling in how to figure out how to tell me she has a boyfriend by like kinda stuttering a bit but then she let it out and said it which I replied something along the lines of wanting to be her friend and that I respect her relationship. Anyways I eventually brought up how I like filming short films whenever I can, I said that sometimes it can be hard to do so since not many people tend to actually want to help me film a film. I then asked if she’d be down to one day help me out by being in one of my movies which she replied saying that yeah she’d be down. I then asked her again just to confirm which she like said yeah she’d be down (she even nodded her head). As the conference was about to end she asked me if I had IG so that I could message her on there instead bc she doesn’t check her iMessage since she’s bad at checking it and has over 500 texts from like months ago supposedly which I then said I have her beat since I have over 900 unread texts (which I do but they’re mostly like promotional texts from like stores lol) and I even showed her. So my question is, is she interested in me at all or was she just trying to be nice? Could it be she’s currently monkey branching? What do you guys think? Thanks.
