In recent years I've been noticing something, I may be overthinking things but a second opinion can help in different situations. For most of my life I've been one of two things the guy with the plan, or the "cool headed second-in-command". Most of my life have enjoyed people always come to me for advice like I'm some sort of sage village elder, it's been nice being known as the smartest guys in the room, however I think it's had brought some unforeseen consequences. I've noticed if I had a crush on a girl and try to ask her out it always ends with a no, even if I've known and been speaking with this girl for weeks or years the answer is always the same. I try to be a good person to hang out with: I take a shower everyday, I brush my teeth, I shampoo my hair, I dress nicely, I try not to be snooty or stuck up, I don't brag or bost about being smart. Yet every single time I try it end the exact same way. I have plenty of friends almost half of which are girls, and anytime I tell a joke(which is often) everyone laughs in fact I'm usually the guy they ask to make a jokes. So what do I need a correct or what do yoi think I'm getting wrong? Where do you guys think I need to improve? Side note I make sure they're single before I try to ask them out. (Other than some grammatical errors it I most likely made writing this)
