I'm a student at a very small state college (<3000 students) in upstate NY, basically the type of school where you see the same people at least once every week. In the town, there's only one college bar, and usually only 1-2 small parties (if that) and that's it. This makes night-game difficult.

I've gotten a few day-game numbers, but almost all are flakes ending with either they don't text me back, or the conversation just ends out of nowhere. I feel like i'm making a genuine connection with these girls too, which baffles me as to why why they are all of a sudden so disconnected when I go to text them (I keep texts short, and avoid small talk and conversations).

I've been out to this college bar at least 10 times in the semester and it's almost always the same people that show up (girls with their guy friends, girls with their boyfriends, girls with their friends, guys with their guy friends). I go by myself all the time since none of my friends want to join me (they're all "tired" of going there). It's frustrating because isolating these girls is difficult when everyone knows everyone, and especially when it's a relatively small bar with a dance floor and stage, and a decent sized bar. A lot of girls that come with their friends are just "there to have a fun time", but by that they usually mean "dance with their friends or the hottest guy that approaches them and go home alone regardless". A lot of these girls are 21 and under as well.

I've had little success. I have no problems approaching these girls, yet most of them already have seen me and know what I do and how I act, so my game is not new. The girls that do like me are few and far between, and the girls that don't like me already know what to expect, so I avoid them.

I've focused on having a good time and talking to as many girls as possible, but this is getting tiring. I make sure to incorporate touch into my conversations, yet talking to them falls on deaf ears (music is loud). I've grinded with some girls every now and then, but then they just walk away and don't do anything with me afterwords. A lot of the girls gravitate towards those that play sports (lacrosse, hockey, football) and flirt with nobody else. I feel like i've tried everything at this point. Surely there must be something i'm doing wrong here.

The semester is ending in mid-December and I want to have at least one solid lay; i'm on a 9 month dry spell. My confidence has never been this high, i've talked to more girls in the past 3 months than I have my entire life combined, doing well in classes, dress well, work out 6 days a week and enjoy playing basketball in my spare time as a hobby.

What am I doing wrong here? What can I do differently/better? Is it just a matter of trial and error, or should I change things up?
