First off, my apologies if this post is in the wrong subreddit! I needed an experienced eye’s perspective/analysis on a series of interactions that I experienced with a girl, one night, when I went clubbing with a friend. He served as my wingman and I tried to do the same… I never realized how having a wingman helped so much when it came to dancing and socializing with girls at the club until that night.

But, anyways, we were just doing our best to enjoy the music on the dance floor, and a random group of girls all of a sudden stood in front of us. My friend managed to start a conversation with one of the girls (the most attractive one out of the group) and I couldn’t really hear what they were saying, so my focused shifted to the music. So, as I was settling into my own zone, all of a sudden that same girl came up to me and kissed me on the cheek. Prior to this, I didn’t interact or socialize with her at all, so it took me a couple of seconds to process this because it was so quick and out of the blue. Well her face was right in front of mine, and I didn’t know how to react so I just lightly pecked her on the cheek. She immediately ended up retreating to my friend who was about 10-12 feet away, and started talking with him again. Then, she came back near me, grabbed my hand, and brought me closer to her. I did my best to improvise, and we ended up dancing together in a smooth, rhythmic manner, despite it being house/trance music. Her face was buried on my chest and I was groping her body. It felt very intimate. Then, I don’t know why the hell I did this, but I kissed her on the arm, and she immediately retreated back to my friend, again, laughing and smiling. Can someone explain what this means?

Then, we ended up dancing together as a whole group. She playfully mimicked my SORRY dance moves, and then, we eventually parted ways.

My friend later told me that she thought I was cute, which may possibly be the reason why she was paying some attention to me. Therefore, my friend pushed and encouraged her to kiss me on the cheek, and that’s why she did it, out of the blue, without any prior social interaction with me, whatsoever. Out of the two times I pecked/kissed her, though, it led her to run back to my friend. What does this mean?

Unfortunately, I’m very oblivious and lack awareness in social situations (have to work on it) so any input will be appreciated.

I have ZERO game and I know it seems pathetic, but I was able to dance with a decently attractive girl that night! This might be something that all of you may know, but having a wingman/friend HELPS A LOT, especially for people who lack social skills.
