I'm 35 yrs old and everything in my life is going well (career, friends, family, etc.) and I just recently got out of a long 6 year relationship in with a miserable toxic girl. When I was last single, dating women was very easy for me. I'm not sure why it was so easy but I didn't really care too much about any one woman, I dated a lot, and every first date went sexual (or very close to sex) even with conservative type girls. I'm also tall, smart and decently good looking (not trying to brag but this is what generally women say to me). One girl literally jumped on me and pushed me to have sex even though I wasn't into her but she was gorgeous. A model once picked me up in a library and we had sex on the 2nd date.

Fast forward to today, and 2 years out of the toxic relationship, I am suddenly struggling big time. I went on 4 different dates in the past year (just simple dates like coffee, drinks, etc.) in which the lady later texted me saying she felt "a friend vibe" and its crazy because 4 different women used that exact phrase. I have NO CLUE what I'm dong to cause this and how a woman can conclude "friend vibe" in 30 minutes. In fact, one woman said I was friend vibe after a 10 minute phone call and some texting and we didn't even ever meet in person!! Generally these short dates are just getting to know each other on a basic level - where she and I are from, family, education, etc. and I assume that is how any intro short date would go for anyone?

What could I be suddenly doing wrong? Its not my personality is completely different or anything? I try to initiate flirtation to the extent possible on a short first date. Given that 4 different women have said this to me in a year, its clear to me that I need to fix something ASAP. The only thing different about me from 6 years ago is that I've lost a little weight and I'm kind of underweight but that can't be it, could it?
