Im old school and I live by the idea that a phone call almost always trumps a text. That said, the value if text is the ease and convenience when trying to maintain contact and communication. It can be thoughtful, it can be flirty, it can be romanticn it can be silly... but the value is it keeps the connection consistant, as we dont always have time to sit and talk on the phone.

And lets face it, nowadays, texting is sometimes just easier. I can do it when Im working, or as a second hand thought. But what the other person gets is a reminder that Im thinking of them, that I like them, I desire them, I have fun with them, or whatever.

And it doesnt have to always be words. I have an album of flirty images, sexy pics, and romantic quotes. Its just a little something to help fan those flames.

Thats beacause texting is not about adding value. Youre goal when texting is to hang out again. You want to avoid texting back and forth about bullshit for hours and hours because it gets boring no matter who you are and the girl will start to be bored by you which is not good. Show your value by texting her that you are going out that night to xyz and with abc and that she should join you. You cant game over text, it just doesnt work.
