Here's what you're doing wrong:

1) "I asked her if she was seeing anyone and she said she wasn't and that she wasn't looking to date, but would like to get to know me." That's when you should have nexted her. You should have said, "Well, I'm looking to date somebody" and moved on. You are setting yourself up for the friendzone by acquiescing in this bullshit.

2) "Few weeks later, she posted a audio clip of her singing up on facebook and I love girls that sing." A few weeks later? Goddamn, that's too long. She's forgotten about you by then. You have to strike while the iron is hot (i.e., she still has emotions for you). By a few weeks later, she's already fucked like 10 other guys. You should have called her like 2 days later and asked her on a date.

3) " I tell her (on facebook) "no way you cant do that, i'm a sucker for a girl with a voice" and she laughs and says thanks." Ewww. Just ewww. Here's a girl who rejected you and now you're kissing her ass again? Ewww. Ewww. Stop it. You're being pathetic. Plus, you're doing the "semi-approach" where you're trying to be friendly and flirty - that never works. YOu have to tell you want to fuck her ASAP.

4) "I tell her shes gotta stop getting so many points with me, trying to show my interest and she says, "haha points huh?"" Trying to show your interest? How is that a thing you even have to try? You just have to say "hey you want to go on a date." There is no "try."

5) "And it abruptly ends." It ends because, as the man, its your responsibility to keep the conversation going. You should have asked her out. You didn't because you're a pussy. Move on and find somebody else.

Without a question you killed it off with "you heard me lol". What is she supposed to say in response to that? No kidding she heard you, she wants you to expand on what you said or jump to the next thing. In her mind she probably thought "uhh, okay..."

If you were going to run with the whole points idea, come up with a reason she might have lost points and inform her she's now back in the positive.

Remember, the goal here is for her to see your value not you to tell her how awesome she is. Your "points" need to be worth something and not something easily attained, not outright telling her that she's almost fully won you over with a facebook video.

I suggest leaving things more open ended. A lot of good advice around this post, just think about her ability to answer back. On the same token it sounds like you wouldn't get very far behaving like this to begin with, shes interested. That much is fact, but she is testing you by her response. Don't be a kiss ass, but don't be afraid to compliment when deserved. If she does something dumb let her know, but don't it to far because that will make her less comfortable with you, its all about balance. That is what people mean when they say girls love bad boys, because bad boys don't kiss ass, they compliment only when deserved. Also, I suggest getting to the point more often. Instead of "no way you cant do that, i'm a sucker for a girl with a voice" I would have said (if I was following your example) "Unfair, i'm a sucker for a girl with a voice" because it's not about the pretext, I'm only using that to allow me to say that I like her voice. Ideally I would just say she had a nice voice XD

Edit: also learn to frame shift, when you are holding a convo so you don't get friend zoned. (Most useful tip here)

Edit2: No response isn't always a bad thing either, learn to gauge when something has run its course, thats all the girl was saying by not responding. If you react funny to that though then you will be DLVing
