It's all about getting into state. To get good fast you have to WANT to go out multiple (4 or 5) times a week. This involves creating a routine. Mine is meditating for 10 to 20 minutes depending on time. Turning on my techno music playlist, stretching in shower for 10 minutes; male grooming ;) i.e. manscaping; shaving; lotion; hair gel; body lotion; brush teeth; listerine; deodorant; cologne; etc. Finding the right outfit for the occasion. Cleaning my room/ house (if needed) and preparing everything for an F-Close (having alcohol). All this while dancing/ running around the house. Finding the perfect outfit to look like a boss. A few more wide motions and power poses; grab condoms; know your destination and find a logistical location in between your house and the initial destination to continue a potential interaction; caffeine pill and I'm out. Find your state routine. They are money and once it becomes a common practice you will have no problem finding your groove night in and night out.

High energy game is good for certain contexts and audiences. However, I'm naturally introverted and it's difficult for me to sustain a high energy strategy for more than a night. On low energy nights, I'm much less gregarious and very direct, severe, while keeping a strong sexual frame that quickly filters people out. It's important to develop versatility. Choice of venue should also be mentioned. You may do well in venues like cocktail parties, lounges, or cabarets on low energy nights.

I find dancing is a good way to break the tension. You go in with your serious framework a lot of the time, but need someting to shake you out of your standard, humdrum exchanges.

Keys to the VIP before going out helps me get more in that frame of mind. They often don't give you very much good material - if any - but you get to see what's possible. Sometimes you'll be surprised at how much they get for how little they have.

Another thing is to chat up everything and everyone on the way there, including your friends. How do you expect to be "On" when you walk in when you're completely "off" outside the club? That's why they suggest a crash course of sets right when you walk in. They're almost expected to go terribly, but they get the juices flowing.

I still prefer dance, but that can sometimes get you in the mood to just dance and you find excuses not to talk. Still gotta force yourself to talk!

Get your life together first, if your life sucks you're obviously not going to feel in state most of the time. Get your financial situation steady, get in decent health, and then go out and pursue the sexual/emotional part of it and you will feel much better about it
