The book is very straight forward. Be honest, improve yourself, and project your worth to everybody. Be confident because you should be basically. It just cuts some of the "when she says this, you say this" crap out. Everything you see anywhere on seddit should be taken with a grain of salt, if it doesn't suit your style or personality then don't use it.

A) Mark Manson flat out admitted in an AMA that he excessively bashed all the Pick Up Seduction material to separating himself. For instance in models he dismisses the concept of being in state.... thats just absolutely crazy! you should not rely on state ignored to approach, but It is crazy powerful.

B) I feel like the purpose of models is to have great relationships. not to get girls. I think it is an extremely valuable book, but i don't think it is as useful as other resources for getting girls. some seduction techniques may be counter productive for a sustainable relationship, and some might not.

I think it is an invaluable book to read it changes your perceptions and and should make for much better relationships, but i think you can fuse concepts from here with what he says.

Iv watched so old stuff with Mystery and Lovedrop, those old guys from the beginning, and their model is definitely off, and clashes with Mark, and the modern RSD stuff.

RSDTyler is a really good reassure. Id recumbent watching the Blueprint Decoded down the road, it is fascinating, and helps you understand people and social situations better. it does not really have any techniques.

My favorite part of models is about demographics. I think it does go against using routines and the different order of things you are "supposed" to do. The fact that some of the pick up theories tell a person that's 43 and an engineer to say and do the same things as a 19 year old frat boy would say is kind of ridiculous to me. That being said, I think pick up starts with the routines and the other gimmick-y shit and you evolve into what Mark talks about in Models.

Mystery Method, Stylelife = Short term just getting laid Models = Long term success with women

Models is just about being the best possible you that you can be and finding venues that fit your personality to meet women. Knowing the demographics of what type of women you will meet at a rap hip hop club and girls you will meet at a charity dinner.

I don't think so, at least in terms of what kinds of content people tend to upvote (both submissions and in the comments section). People tend to prize solid philosophy over tactics. For example, this is the highest voted submission on seddit of all time, and it's very inner-game focused, which is most of what Models is about.

Here's the issue (that may be leading to what you observe): in terms of volume, there's simply more stuff about PUA tactics out there than there is solid philosophy. The very nature of inner-game is that it can be simplified to a few basic principles, whereas the nature of "tradtional PUA" is that you can come up with endless micro-level tactics for every conceivable scenario. So you get articles on "supermarket game: best openers to use in the produce aisle" and "sporting event game: how to pick up chicks at the ball game" and every other conceivable scenario.

The upshot is that if you look at everything that gets posted to seddit, you'll see less on philosophy, principles, and inner-game, and you'll see more on tactics, lines, and routines. So if that's something you take issue with, stop reading everything and just look at what's highly voted, because most of that stuff tends to be pretty worthwhile.
