i really don't know the answer to this but In my unprofessional opinion I'd say they just want validation. Again, not the expert, but in my shoes i'd probably ask if they down to fuck otherwise get lost.

You need to decide for each one if it's the healthy thing to do. If you do hook up with your past flings or exes, are they the kind of person who won't read into it much, or are they the person that you know this will hurt them more? If you've gotten to the point where they are mad that you aren't committing, my guess is you know them well enough at this point that you can make a clear judgement call on the matter.

Validation. They want quick sex. it could be anything. WHat are you supposed to do is up to you. Let them know you're not looking to commit still, but if you want to hook up and they're down then go for it.

Id say it really depends.... if she wants you back, maybe you can have some "fun with her", you dont even have to feel bad if you just use your opportunity because most times if you actually tried it seriously again it will probably end once more rather quickly.
