Hey guys,

I've noticed a sticking point in my game recently. I don't really know how to tread the fine line between being persistent and being needy.

At this stage I think I'm really good at handling "rejection" and moving on ASAP once I realise it's not going to work out. At the same time, I feel like I might be missing out on opportunities by not being persistent enough and really going for it.

I abide by what I call the Brad Pitt Test. I ask myself, "would this girl be acting this way if I was Brad Pitt?" If the answer is no, then chances are she's not that into me. Hence I move on. I usually apply this test ruthlessly and quickly NEXT girls who I perceive are not that keen.

But lately I feel like I might not be giving the girls a chance and ending things too soon.

For example: I match with this girl on tinder, she seems cool and I am interested. We exchange phone numbers/facebook details. I message her over facebook asking if she is free over the weekend.... no response for 3 days. But at the same time I don't see the "seen" setting in the chat, even though she has been online. I assume it's some sort of glitch or something.

Now, normally I wouldn't bother proceeding. If this girl isn't keen on me than I move on straight away. How do you guys know when to move on vs ploughing for more?

TL;DR - How do you know when you are being too needy vs. not persistent enough?
