Hey Reddit,

Just joined the community, seemed cool after that button fiasco a while back and the banter seemed great. So hey! waves hands

'm a 16 year old male who could use some help picking up girls, 'getting with' lasses, 'pulling birds' or however you say it around your area. First off, a brief description of myself: I'm blond, blue eyed, fit (not ripped, but working on it and I eat healthily), hygienic, 5' 11" (terrible with heights so take that lightly) and have plenty of hobbies. Horse riding, air cadets and thinking of taking up gymnastics. I also model, which makes my lack of success with girls all the more frustrating. I've recently came out of a bad spot in life, and I am more confident, outgoing and determined that I have been in a long time. All other areas in my life have seen massive progress, so I know I can do the same here. It is not that I cannot get with girls full stop, on holiday I was able to in a matter of days with a beautiful Spanish girl my age (15 at the time). It just seems in my area it is so much harder.

I have the confidence to start a conversation with a girl, go up to them and so on, but here is one of my questions: Is that too much at the beginning, i.e. appearing too keen, or it is a good move - showing my confidence? Past that point I'm capable most of the time of holding a good conversation (asking about her and so on), but I lack at the moment (I know I can do it) the knowledge/ability to move past talking and well, kissing etc. I've got it in me, I just need to know how. With the right advice and tips, I am fully confident I could do it and more. Many of you will know the pain of being 16 and getting hardly anything, so anything you could tell me to help would be awesome. Please feel free to cover everything and anything: eye contact, conversation, body contact etc.
