IMHO, playing games is a waste of your time and energy. All it does is set the stage for a relationship where both of you are being fake. It's just building a toxic relationship, and I personally have no room in my life for toxic relationships.

If a girl thinks that I'm playing hard to get, it's not because I'm trying to play bullshit games. It's because I'm actually busy in my life and I have shit to do.

I personally don't care about trying to fuck as many girls as possible, so I don't try to increase my "success rate". I care more about having relationships with chemistry (whether it's a FWB or one night stand or whatever) rather than just getting my dick in a hole. Playing games will prevent me from creating authentic relationships with others. If a girl doesn't like me for who I am, then I'm not going to try to manipulate her perception of me until she likes me. Total waste of calories, IMHO. I'll just find a girl who does like my authentic self.

The thing is, I'm at a point where my authentic self is (generally speaking) attractive to women. If your authentic self isn't generally attractive to women, then you probably need some degree of fake it 'till you make it. Like, if your authentic self is currently coming from a place of supplication, pussy pedestaling, etc., then you might need to try out some behaviors that feel weird to you (at this moment).

"Playing hard to get" is what's commonly referred in Seddit as "Push/Pull Technique". It's one of the most effective methods of building sexual tension because it keeps her uncertain whether or not you're interested in her. A popular technique is to use a 2:1 ratio of displays of interest/displays of disinterest. Whether you are busy or faking that you are busy is never wrong, as long as you play this card every now and then.

What I mean by this is that you want to sometimes throw the girls off, by becoming inconsistent from time to time. For example: Pavlov's dog: (Hopefully you know the story and research done, if not, google it to get a better understanding) Pavlov rang his bell everytime he fed his dogs. When dogs get hungry, they salivate. He rang his bell everytime he fed his dogs for a week (or month or however long) Now this one time, he rang his bell, but he didn't bring out any food. What happened was an amazing psychological discovery; his dogs, even though not fed, still salivated.

Pretty much; a key play in any man's book is that he must always pull the same experiment. A little anecdote that I experimented during my time in highschool with girls.

I would walk the hallways between each class and say hi to any girl that I liked. Asked them how their day was, and so on. For 2 weeks straight, I made sure to have a meaningful conversation with them and after the first week, they would come around the corner now looking for me. Then one day, after the 2 weeks, I would take a different route to my class. What happened was fascinating, the next day I would come around the corner, back to my usual route, and the girl(s) I would usually talk to would come upto me half pissed wondering where I was the day before. Experiment was a success.

Obviously, the adult life isn't highschool, so instead, make it a habit to text someone a happy monday/friday. If a monday, let them know that you will message them sometime in the week to see what's going on. If on a friday, ask them how their week was and what their plans are for the weekend. Text them both days of the week and for a whole month. Yes, a month is a long time, but patience is a virtue and atleast with this experiment, by texting them, you can atleast build a stronger relationship with her/them. Now, in comes the experiment, one Monday, "forget" to text her. She may or may not confront you on this, but trust me, you now got her attention. You subconsciously broke her routine, and by breaking her routine, you may have thrown her whole Monday off and thus she is now thinking about you.

If you get lucky; she will message you and ask how you are doing. A smooth response, in my opinion, to this would be, "Hey that's funny, I was just thinking about you. How's it going"

I don't think I have to say much more...
