Hello seddit,
There's this challenge I made for myself; to be more sociable. I started with just maintaining eye contact to everyone I pass, then saying "Hi" and so on.
Now I'm at the point of talking to a minimum of two totally random strangers each day. But, the conversations I have with these people are mostly small talk and I always forget about the content of the conversation within an hour.
So the thing I want to ask seddit is, what are some great questions that make for a great conversation?
For example, I don't ask what study/job they do, ask them what they like the most about it. Ask them what the most unique location was they visited in the last month or the "one" thing they are looking out for.
I want to have some emotion in the conversation, not some stale small talk. So aside from my previous examples, what are some good questions?
PS. Please point me at my grammar mistakes, my native language isn't English and improvement is always welcome.
