So I recently read Models and really like Mark Manson's philosophy of living an honest and fulfilling life to help with attracting women. One thing he describes is the importance of being polarising - a concept I've heard from multiple schools of thought regarding attraction. The idea that essentially you should put your full personality forward and see if a girl is receptive to it.
I like to think I am a fairly polarising person; I have my preferences and opinions in life that not everybody agrees with. But they are mine and that's what makes me who I am as a person.
BUT (and this is where my question comes in)
I am also a very balanced individual - I can usually see and understand both sides of a viewpoint. For example, a girl may have preference A whereas I will have preference B - I will polarise that! But I am also able to talk about why I have preference B over preference A for reasons x, y and z but also here are reasons 1, 2 and 3 why I can understand that someone may have preference A over B (sorry if all the letters and numbering is confusing).
The benefit of this is that it helps generate conversation but by being this way, am I no longer being polarising?
I know this is a rather strange and silly thing to ask but it's something I've been thinking about for a while and wanted to see what seddit thought. What do you guys think?
TL;DR be polarising and I do polarise my opinions BUT I'm quite balanced and can see both sides to a viewpoint - does this no longer make me polarising?
