Anything, ask when the next assignment is due. Once you've asked opening question introduce yourself. Say something like "I see you all the time but don't know your name, I'm John". Once you've broken the ice you can ask about where she's from, what she's studying etc

There is nothing weird about telling a girl she is pretty if you genuinely believe she is pretty.

You are afraid that she will react badly if you tell her that, but why?

Because you probably heard women somewhere saying that they don’t wanna get hit on, or catcalled, or something.

So you now assume that showing interest in a girl is somewhat forbidden, as if it’s some kind of harassment or assault that makes women uncomfortable.

But harassment is not telling women they are pretty, it’s when you don’t ask for consent and start making comments about her physique. So what you need is to get consent:

Imagine telling her: Hey, I want to tell you something real quick before i go” The girl says “what do you want to tell me?” And then you say “well i was just minding my own business but i love your style; and i really admire it, so i wanted to get to know you and see if love your personality too. My name’s “Ralpis” by the way.

You have now done it on a way that sounds more respectful because you asked for permission to engage, she gave it and you reveal your truth and intentions without being a pervert.

Now she can only say “_thank you but i have a boyfriend/not interested_” or she can say “_oh thank you, nice to meet you, my name is_…”

You can even minimise any potential discomfort by telling the girl that you will leave soon that you are on a rush so she can relax knowing you will go away soon if she ends up not being comfortable during the conversation.

The focus on practicing daygame is to get used to having small talk / casual conversations with strangers, such as "Damn it's so hot today... Hey do you know where x is?..." etc. The more you do this, the better you'll sense when to ask ...We should grab a coffee with sometime, I know a great coffee place, whats your number?". Focus less on if you're creepy, remember there is nothing wrong with communicating with fellow locals in your city, and there is nothing wrong with inviting women out for a date. Simply keep practicing, wear your best outfit, use your best cologne, have a nice haircut, feel confident and go approach, you never know if that's your future date or wife!
