I was reading this [fr] http://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/sfvp5/fr_dont_buy_girls_drinks_lesson_learned/ and can see if being put in a position of, "hey, buy me a drink," would be met with a resounding, "f NO!"

But, it got me thinking about Robert Cialdini's book, Influence: the Power of Persuasion (which is a must read btw) and his discussion of the power of reciprocity and how doing a favor, i.e. offering to buy a drink would place a subconscious need for the person to reciprocate the favor.

Just curious of people's thoughts on the concept...
