I wanted to post this because I have recently realized that I made a huge mistake when I got into reading seduction.

I was a very insecure guy, and couldn't get women, and so I started reading here. Maybe I got the message incorrectly but I was under the impression that insecurity was absolutely the most unattractive trait I could possibly have. As a result, I have just been in denial for the last 2 years.

I learned to come off very confident, and would tell woman things about how I am that were what I wanted to be, not what I actually was.

I now have a girlfriend, and I've realized that that is the incorrect approach. DO NOT deny that you have insecurities. Every last one of us has them and if you think you don't you are in denial. I've heard that you should be confident in and "own" your insecurities. I think even that is ridiculous. If you could "own" your insecurities then they wouldn't be insecurities.

It's what you do about them that is attractive. It's being able to admit to a woman you are interested in being in a relationship with what your insecurities are, being vulnerable and letting her in. Telling her that you aren't that pleased with your looks, or you fear being judged. I think my girlfriend is most attracted to me when I break down and tell her those things. She feels important and trusted. When you are telling someone your insecurity, or admitting them to yourself, you are far closer to overcoming them than someone who is in denial of them.
