Some backstory. For a summer vacation area, me and my family go to a place in Pennsylvania where we stay in a cabin in a small community. Everybody goes up there from surroundoing areas to relax. You own the cabin/trailer and there is so much woods and land and activies. I would usually just sit inside and relax playing my n64 while we were up there and never wanted to meet new people. I'm 17 by the way.

But last night was different (I'm home now). I decided to go out and meet some people. I went to the clubhouse, which is where all the kids hangout, and approached some guy and started talking to him. He ended up leaving and I walked over to two girls. Then we met up with their friends and we hungout. The group consisted of 3 guys including me, and 3 girls now after the original 2 left.

So the three guys are Mike, Tom, and me. The girls are Sophia, Jackie, and Allie. Mike and Sophia were obviously "hook-up" partners for their stay and I thought Jackie was pretty cute so I started talking to her. In the meantime, there was a lot of whispering and they finally decided to ask me to hangout. We then dropped off the golf cart at Sophia's cabin and walked back to the clubhouse. I was walking with Tom and Mike tells me Jackie wants to walk with me. I say ok and we are walking in the back. Somebody brought up that we should all hold hands and block the road, so I took Jackie's hand and we were walking. We never blocked the road, but we kept holding hands. She was fine with it, and we continued talking.

This is where I think something happened. First of all, everybody was hinting that we should hookup and wouldn't stop. That right there may be the cause of disaster. I was "Peter Pan" and she was "Tinkerbell" and she was not into it. We stopped holding hands and she walked ahead. Ok, whatever.

So later on they bring up truth or dare. A one time truth or dare. For me. And they keep bringing it up. I don't know why they are pushing it so hard. Basically, nothing happened.

I texted her the next morning (she gave me her number) and we were talking for a bit. Everything seemed cool. Then she one word replies me saying "yeah." Ok...obviously wanting to end the conversation I say "talk to you later :)" and this how she replied. I verbally said WOW after reading this. K. Just a k. What the hell?

In all honesty, I couldn't careless about the girl herself. I just want to know what went wrong. If people push for a hookup is the girl turned off? I don't know what happened. Everything seemed awesome, she was very into me and then the attraction just dropped to the ground. I want to improve myself if I can, was it something I did wrong?

If you read all this and can offer advice, I'd appreciate it a lot.
