The majority of everybody here are well past their sweet 16 years, but I thought I'd share a 'sweet 16' story.

It was the Sweet 16 of a girl I knew when I was little, but she had moved to another town in middle school. She invited out some people (me included) from her old town. It started out pretty nice, but the two friend/town groups were basically separated. There were only 4 guys from my town there there. Her town had a pretty equal good boy:girl ratio.

So after just talking with my friends, not doing much for the party...everybody hit the dance floor. I can not dance for my life, so I naturally stood on the side and had a "why the fuck am I here" look on. When in reality, I was nervous...but because I am pretty attractive the other girls assumed there was something wrong with them which is why I wasn't dancing (the k-close admits this to me).

So a girl walks up to me and asks me to dance. My 2 other friends were also dancing at this point (one had already started making out). So I start dancing with her, I'm a bad dancer so I just grabbed her hand and waist and basically moved left and right with her (to me it was awkward...but not one else thought that so I just went with it..any tips here?). Then my other friend starts making out with his dance partner so I said "ok fuck this" to myself and whispered in her ear "can I kiss you?" Pretty stupid thing to say, but she agreed and we kissed while dancing. We stopped, and then kissed again. After that I walked to her to her table and I met all of her friends.

I got her phone number and talked the rest of the night. We danced/kissed again and then she wanted to go on a walk with me but it never happened...who knows what could have happened there..

Basically, I kissed her goodbye and that was that. I texted her once, but honestly didn't want anything further so I didn't talk to her much. I think she felt the same way.

Any comments? I want to know what you guys think..what I could have done better.
