So.. I'm having problems with the family of this girl. Especially with her father. We're very different. He's a man who spent his life working and enjoying simple things. I'm a young guy (18) who enjoy studying, literature, physics and philosophy. I've never worked seriously in my life and the only physical pain I've endured has been given by three years of gym.

I think the main task is to give the image of a man who has everything alright, who looks confident and, most important, worth of trust.

But I'm worrying a lot: when I'll be in front of her father will I achieve this image or my anxiety will get the best of me?

Anyway, generally speaking, what are the best advice you would give to a guy that is going to meet the parents of his SO for the first time?
