Reverse shit test. Is this a thing?

This is good question that I hadn't considered before. No, it seems pretty clear that we can't.

I'm thinking out loud a bit, so bear with me.

They won't work because of their purpose, the psychology of the person giving them, and the response.

Normal shit tests are intended to validate the mans fitness or give the girl comfort (very different tests, with very different responses, but similar shit from the girl in the moment). They often work for the girl because she wants us to prove ourselves in one of these ways, and the fact that she does it only amuses us and doesn't cause us to question her value as a mate. In response, we feel obligated to solve the problem (the Beta, wrong response) or diffuse it.

On the flip side, if we were to apply shit tests to them, women don't feel obligated to demonstrate any fitness in this way. It will fall flat. Further, they would make you seem weak and unfit if you presented them as shit tests. By asking them, the girl will likely turn it in her mind to reflect poorly on you.

The other thing about shit tests is that they don't benefit the girl in any way other than as a test. We don't think more highly of the girl for giving us a shit test. In fact, it's the opposite. So, since we don't care to fitness test women, I don't see what their purpose would be.

Now here's the magic. Instead of shit tests, we have negs, teasing, and dread in our arsenal. They are our way of establishing our fitness while reminding the girl of her own. We don't ask, we say. It's like the reverse of a shit test.

For example, as a classic shit test, she might say, "do you sleep with a lot of other girls?" If you were to ask her, "have you slept with a lot of other guys?" you appear unconfident and needy. Instead, regardless of whether she has or not, just tease her about it in a way that lets her know in a funny way that it's assumed and doesn't bother you, "since you've already been with all the other guys in this club already..." (make sure to smile) That makes her aware that you know the score and she should watch herself.

I read an old post on shit tests....Can we make ACTIVE use of them as well or is this a women's only thing?

First off, we need to define our terminology if we want to have a discussion about this thing. "Shit tests" are events that occur randomly or are staged consciously or unconsciously . When these events occur, someone observing can see the reaction that another person has to that event ("the shit test"). People will have different feelings about the person based on the reaction they have to the event ("the shit test"). If the reaction shows some undesireable quality, attraction will suffer, or die.

So right off the bat, the phrase "shit test" has a misleading connotation, implying that they can only be staged events, when really events are happening ALL the time that we react to, and other people observe our reactions.

Viewed in this context, it seems clear that everyone is constantly having reactions to various events happening around them. Reactions that show what they are really made of: confidence, humor, flexibility of thinking, intelligence, education level, etc.. And other people in the area are logically and emotionally weighing them based on those reactions. Shit tests are the process through which both parties can become aware of the presence of or lack of mutual chemistry.

Women have preferences. So they make judgements on men based on reactions they see to randomly occuring shit tests, and unconsiously or consciously administered shit tests.

Men have preferences in the women they like, just as women don't like every man they meet. So men are also making judgements on women based on reactions they see to randomly occuring shit tests, and unconsiously or consciously administered shit tests.

So men and women both "use" shit tests. The difference between the sexes is two-fold, and can lead to some confusion:

A man's role in (casual or serious) courtship is often that of the initiator. We often get wrapped up in the thrill of the hunt. And as such, we are often so focused on making things happen, that we overlook our own preferences or the fact that women are perpetrating some foul shit that guys usually can't get away with.
Men are concerned with different things and so judge based on different things and won't care about the same "shit tests," as women. But make no mistake, at some point, even if the guy is more concerned with the thrill of the hunt, than compatibility with the girl, at some point a lack of compatibility will be impossible to ignore. This incompatibility is driven home anytime a women "fails" a shit test.

Example: Fitness matters to a guy who ends up inviting a girl out for a hike. Said girl ends up getting winded and walking like an old person. Guy is turned off.

TL;DR: Shit tests are most certainly used by both sexes ALREADY and basically refers to the proces through which one or both parties becomes aware of the presence or lack of mutual chemistry. The question is, are you noticing when she fails your shit tests? Or are you so focused on getting in there, that you're ignoring that fact?

Men generally use Qualification rather than shit tests.

Shit tests are a way women try to get you to disqualify yourself. We generally use fake disqualifiers, so we beat her to it, and prevent her from disqualifying us first.

I think we can. And to do it, we just have to be in the mindset of, I am awesome, and why should I let this chick date me?

So a shit-test from her could be, "you're pretty short..." Not thinking, a lot of guys would think or respond with a variation of "but, I have X, Y or Z going for me. So, don't judge me on my shortness. I have other redeeming qualities" or "I may be short, but there are much shorter men then me". You are telling her, why you are a good mate for her. But you should always be asking yourself, is she a good mate for me?

In order to reverse this shit-test. Admit you are short, but that is what makes you awesome. Take her "neg" and amplify it, Then throw a question at her regarding her neg.

"you're kinda short."

"hell yeah I'm short, You have a midget fetish?"

or

"Thats what makes me awesome, but I've found height doesnt matter when we are laying down. You ever stare at the stars with someone closer and more connected to the Earth/ground?"

By throwing out the question, you are asking her to qualify herself to you(the shit test). And she will then be put on the spot to come up with something witty.
