You were literally me a few years back. This feeling happens when you don't have abundance. Even if you have to fake it always have something to do (sometimes literally). not this in particular. but there's been a lot of dates that seemed to go well, the girl seems comfortable with me, i have the common sense to know i'm not being weird and she seems to be having a good time, and it ends by me dropping her off at her car and never hearing from her again.

You need to learn to not take these rejections so personally (easier said, then done, I know).
There are so many possibly things happening behind the scenes that have nothing to do with you.
Yes, she probably had a good time. Just not enough of a good time where she wants a second date.
Or, she enjoyed herself, but didn’t feel a spark / chemistry / attraction, so a second date doesn’t make sense.
Or she’s talking to multiple guys / went on another first date around the time you two did, and that other date knocked her socks off, so she wants to pursue that instead.
Or an ex reached out to her after your date and she still has feelings for him, so she’s dealing with that.
I’m a 32F. All of these things happened to me at one point back when I was single and active on dating apps.
i seriously hate how much work it takes to be a 'worthy candidate' of high quality women, or even just a normal, regular cute girl in general.

On the flip side you spent the day doing physical activity and hanging out with a cute girl, meanwhile people were waiting to have their leg amputated in a hospital nearby or rotting in prison for a crime they didn’t commit.
I know it’s frustrating but we need to keep some perspective when it comes to this stuff.
Also it sounds like you’re giving sex far too high of a priority - yeah it can be pleasurable but it shouldn’t eclipse everything else that makes your life rich and worthwhile
