I dunno where it came from, but I could've made a similar chart myself. Here's how it works (I'm assuming):
Sunday- It's fuckin Sunday, which means not many people are out, but some of those who are are probably lookin for poon.
Monday- It's fuckin Monday, so the same rules apply.
Tuesday- In the middle of the week, shit starts to change. On Tuesday, it's not unheard-of to go out and party, especially if your situation allows for it.
Wednesday- Same story as Tuesday. Also, Wednesdays (at many colleges) are legit nights to drink, depending on your schedule.
Thursday through Saturday- Everyone's partying.
As for the time of night, that's obvious. People aren't fucking at 8 or 9pm, they're showing up at 8 or 9 (or 10, or 11, or 12) and end up fucking/leaving later on. I would assume the reason it's so high on Tuesday and Wednesday is because the types of people you tend to see, still out and partying at 2am on a Tuesday/Wednesday, are the types of people who want some action.

I have no clue how they'd do it. I guess they'd just interview a bunch of people throughout the week and ask em about last night's exploits. But then I think it's also important to know when that person showed up to wherever they were at, and what the times actually mean. Were they fucking at 2am, did they leave at 2am, were they at bars or just fucking their SO at their place? And if it's purely about girls fucking random guys who "picked them up," then the data's probably skewed a lot since people won't answer truthfully and shit. And then you have to wonder about the numbers themselves. Like how many random guys went out on Wednesday to try to pick up chicks, compared to how many girls went out to get picked up? Why is the number 100 significant, and what the fuck does it mean to go over 100? It creates a ton of questions, but I think the main thing to take away from it is that it's totally irrelevant.

I just came here to say the same thing. Basically the easiest nights to get an SNL are Sun - Tues since the women who are out on the prowl are looking to SNL as well. Plus way less competition so it works out that much easier. Notice that Monday is about as good as Saturday and Tuesday is as good as Friday. I still think Sun - Tues is easier, mainly due to lack of people going out so lower competition and less wasted time.

Women have their guard up on friday/saturday nights and there's stiff competition during these times to boot. Also, some women are going out on friday/saturday for validation from men. Women going out on a tues/weds/thurs probably need to blow off some steam, and what better way to do that than with some alcohol and sex.

Apparently, they searched for a correlation between "time of going out" (from cellphone positioning data) and "being sexually available" (from the profile and match questions). Any objections to this approach?
Also, I'd love to see some error bars on this graph.
