Do YOU want to see them every day? If not, then don't. If the person wants to see you every day, and you don't, either establish those boundaries talking about it or just come to the conclusion you have different wants/needs.

Were you forced to see each other outside of normal circumstances? Like work?

She should understand how we all have lives and that we can’t make up for many things. There are some that are important that we have to handle, while there are others that are not as significant. I can understand why she would want to see you on a daily basis, but she has to learn to be independent sometimes and giving you some space. That’s on her

Space is a good thing. I love my boyfriend, and even then I wouldn't make plans to see him every day. There is truth to the whole "distance makes the heart grow fonder." My boyfriend and I have had date nights every weekend since we started seeing each other almost two years ago. Throw in the fact that covid started about three months into our relationship, we had 2-hour tv date nights over video chat twice a week which we still continue. So, at most I'm seeing him 3 times a week, at least once virtually.

We spend an ample amount of time together while still doing our own thing and seeing/hanging out with our own friends. And when I do see him? Extra happiness thrown in. You have to find a balance with your partner, and what you described wasn't it.
