Last night we had a small gathering at a friends house; there was only 7 of us 4 guys and 3 (A, B, and C)girls. I decided I was going to talk to one of the girls and at least have a fun night even if I didn't get much.

At the beginning all of us were in the kitchen after my friend and I bought some drinks; since we had some previous meetings to attend to earlier, the liquor stores were closed by the time we got back to his house. We just had some cheap girly drinks that hat 17% alcohol. Well when we got back to the house with the drinks, one of the girls (A) said, "what is with these girl drinks? It's like we're having a ladies night." Immediately I smiled and said, "I know right? It would be so fun we could talk about our crappy week, while watching 'The Notebook!'" This got all three of the girls to laugh and then I added "Oh and don't forget about the gallon of ice cream while we talk about our exes; you know, Ben and Jerry, Hag and Daas (followed by a wink)." This made them laugh hard again.

So the night rolls on and I start to flirt with girl B; I forgot what I was saying in the early stages but I guess I was doing something right. At one point later in the night, while I was sitting in the sofa with one of my male friends while playing some console game, she walked over from the kitchen and I told her "how about you sit down?" she responds "where would I sit?" I tell her to sit next to me and shes does!At this point we start talking and I find out she is a gamer! I asked her what games she plays and she responds the usual (she play WoW sometimes) and I talk smack to her about one of the games she plays and how I would beat her if my friend had the game at his house. Then I tell her, "you know how we should settle this? Thumb wrestling." We start playing and a lot of trash talk and laughing from both of us was going on. I slightly let her start winning and and I start to comeback. At this point our other friends went into the living room to watch our epic thumb wrestling match. The score was 1-1 (this was a new game) and I was thinking if I should let her win or should I dominate. I remembered something that I read so I let her win. She started cheering and laughing then I smiled and said, "You know what? Our marriage is over. I am divorcing you. I call dibs on the DVD collection and all your games, but you can keep your Hello Kitty Island Adventure game." She busted out laughing and so set off the night of referring to each other as husband and wife. I had a good time the rest of the night but sadly I found out she was only 17 and a senior in HS (what is it with me and HS girls?!!! I thought she was at least 18 or 19 because girl A who was around my age and a friend of mine brought them along).

At the end of the night I got her number though ( to see if I could pull off a number close if it counts, even though the girl is in HS) and I told her lets hang out during the week whenever I'm not busy and she said yeah.

So seddit, even though I kind of got a number close, does this count? I slightly feel weird once again that it was a HS girl (Why do I keep getting blindsided T_T) Also the fact that we were introduced instead of a cold approach really helped and made things easier.

Also I found out that I don't have any DHV stories to tell. When I was trying to tell a story I just decided to try to be funny but other than that how do you guys DHV? Is it mostly stories?
