Hey Seddit.

To cut a long story short, I was with my ex for 5 years, and a year ago was diagnosed with a serious heart problem. It's nothing terminal, so don't get excited, and the surgery I'm due to have is fairly simple, so I haven't been too stressed about it. I still have a normal busy life, though sex is off the cards for me for the time being.

However, my ex freaked out and, after getting more and more distant over the last year, eventually broke up with me 2 weeks ago. I did my best to reassure her about it all, but it didn't help. I'm due to have my surgery in a few months time, and until I've recovered from that I can't have (full) sex.

I obviously don't want another relationship till I've got it all sorted. But, as I'm still able to do everyday stuff and have a busy life, I want to get over this stuff, meet some cool people, and maybe fool around as much as I'm able to ;)

What to do?
