I am no newbie when it comes to seduction. I have been a casual reader on the subject since I first started trying to have sex with women. Despite my luck over the years (mostly through social circle game), I simply cannot bring myself to cold approach women. I am really trying to get over it now, but I just can't seem to change

The reason that I am trying to get over my fear/resistance to approaching is that I want to get good at day game and night game. I am simply tired of hooking up with whatever girls have the confidence to open me or the girls I meet through friends. I have spent too long simply taking what comes my way. I really want to take an active role in my dating life and stop settling.

The problem is that I have tried what feels like everything to get over my fear of doing cold approaches. I have planed the exact opener I want to use. I have tried to progressively desensitize myself to approaches by doing things like asking girls for directions. I have even tried hypnosis. Whenever it comes to the real thing, I freeze and my mind goes blank.

At this point, I am starting to fear that I will never be able to cold approach. What worse, my fear of approaching women led to me losing out on so many experiences in my 20s. I fear that I will grow old and ask myself what could have been if only I was able to get over my fear and figure out a way to make things happen.

For those introvert/shy guys out there, what concrete steps did you take to get over your approach anxiety? Was there anyone that needed to just find a wing or do a bootcamp just to have someone there to more or less twist their arm?
