A while back I made a thread about adding a girl on facebook who you don't know but have mutual friends with. We've had a chat a couple days ago and it died out. Was generic about our town and stuff, apparently she went to my highschool up to sophomore year. Then she moved a town away and we talked about that. Eventually it died out though and I was the last to talk. I feel like from this interaction she's neutral to me and not 100% unreceptive.

I've been reading models by mark manson lately and I've been thinking about just messaging her directly, hey i know this seems unexpected but i think you look cute and i wanna hang out with you :). Thoughts? We haven't met at all in real life and only exchanged like 10 messages, we did go to the same highschool though.

Part of me thinks this is really creepy and could go wrong terribly, but another part thinks that this could go amazingly and she'll respect my confidence.
