The only thing that comes to mind is that if she cheated on her boyfriend with you, than if you ever decide to hook up with, don't be surprised when she cheats on you. Both of you choose the foundation for your relationship. So go with caution.

Statistically almost every relationship will turnout to be a failure (successful marriages/partnerships that last until death / every other romantic relationship in a person's life). The girl has a morals issue if she is cheating on her boyfriend. To me, that isn't your problem, although it is something to take into account if you want to develop a relationship with her. If she'll do it to this guy she can do it to you.

If that doesn't bother you, go for it but watch your back. The "other guy" should be ticked at her but it is common for the guy to blame the interloper (as if the girl is less than human and unable to make her own decisions). If she were serious about the other guy they'd be engaged (which I would consider hands off) or married (double-ditto).

If it does bother you than I think you need to have that discussion, knowing that she may choose the other guy (even if it is only due to comfort rather than passion/love/etc). Again, her problem - lot's of other fish in the sea, etc.

The judgment of "how much of a dick you are" is between you and the people whose opinions you respect. We're just text on a computer screen.

As to the beta question... If it is a moral issue for you, don't be apologetic for your beliefs (that would be beta). Speak up and state what you believe in - be the man that you are (or want to be) and don't worry about her reaction.

Do you want her to be your girlfriend?

If so, why? She has shown she cheats.

If not, why break them up? Tell her this is fun, but you're not looking for a girlfriend. She can keep seeing him and fucking you.

I'm all for getting around the "I have a boyfriend" line, but sleeping with a girl who actually does have a boyfriend isn't something I think should be done. Yah you guys can justify it in a lot of ways that seem to make sense, but it's still a dick move.

It's your life, your morals. I have no problem doin' the physical thing with a girl in a relationship, because that's between her and me. I won't drive an emotional wedge though, because that's between all three of us. Especially if they've got something that's really solid in other ways, and I don't really want that kind of thing with her. Now, if ever I think I have found THE ONE, then all bets are off because all's fair. But I've not yet found one worth "ruining" another guy's life for.
