Hey guys/girls. Do you hide/lie about the fact that you research and study and attempt pick-up tactics?

Had a few girls say (not to me, cuz they have no idea) that guys who read books on pick-up are "sad".

Or something along the lines of being a loser for looking up how to pick up girls on the internet.

I never specifically tell anyone, but i also dont lie about it when asked.
