I'm gonna go against the grain here and say she is conflicted and will make up her mind once you two see each other. If you really like her and it's a good connection, probably her relationship is ending and wants another guy before she jumps ship.

If i was you, i'd go out with her, kiss her and see what happens. If she wants it she will rationalize it and with a bit of help you can "steal" her from her bf.

Some women are in bad relationships and are scared to leave the bf, doesn't mean they are bad, or will do the same to you or other crap like that. It just means she is scared and wants to play it safe, risk aversed.

A lot of people prefer a bad relationship to being single but that stems from other problems, not just that she is mean or a cheater or other stuff.
