Ever thought of that?

Because I'm terrified of a first successful approach. In a way I'd prefer to get rejected because then you can easily move on and keep approaching.

Simply put, I'm scared of myself. It's been over half a year since I was with a girl in any capacity. And my relationship was a trainwreck where the worst traits of a man surfaced in me, demotivated, spineless, controlling, obsessed, frustrated, angry and with a terrible case of oneitis coated in a thick layer of scarcity.

That's why I don't want any kind of relationship beyond FWBs. I hate the way I was so much, that I don't even want to hear anything about relationships or even worse, love.

So let's get a hypothetical.

I approach, and it goes really fucking well. Like well past my expectations(which are none, or should be at least).

Should I not even think about future contact with this girl. And if I get a phone number for whatever reason, I just write it down and delete it later. On the off chance, I get offered this effin number, I guess I reject it altogether.

Maybe I'm just overthinking it. But maybe I'm in a moment of clarity which is actually pretty smart.
