Make use of silence. It's a good time to look her deep in the eyes. Or to make some touch escalation. Or to focus more for a moment on your activity. Or pause to feel emotions and mood better. Or change environment. Or take some other action. Relax, you should enjoy your date.

On the other hand, if she is not cooperating with holding a conversation and you seem clearly not compatible, then maybe you should not make it longer than it should be?

Silence is a sign that there’s a lack of interest and chemistry. If you can’t get the other person to match your interest level and energy level, you’re probably on a bad date.

I count for 2 seconds look at her in the eyes slyly and raise my brows twice and do a little dance - nit really a dance just kind of like a shoukder swinging groove like one that says "hey baby" it makes her laugh every single time haha.

Then you say - "that's my little awkward silence dance".

It works for me because it's funny to me and I'm comfortable. You are being silly and laughing at yourself. It obviously won't work if it doesn't suit your personality or not comfortable doing that haha but it's what I do.

It usually ties right into a sporadic dumb playful banter and it makes her more comfortable that you are goofy. Girls love a silly side

A few seconds I'm ok with it. But more than that, I am not a fan of it. I feel if there are long silences, chemistry isn't there or there are nerves.

This is why I like to keep dates short and sweet. Less chance of this happening.
