There is a girl in my uni orchestra I have befriended have gradually begun building some decent rapport with, although it takes considerable effort on my part because she is the shy, quiet, introverted type (which is great nevertheless because I get to practice exerting low energy). She doesn't appear to have that many friends and I'm the one she usually interacts with (probably due to the fact she has been in the country for a relatively short time frame).

Yesterday I walked home with her to the central city train station with our other female friend (who had to get the train home) after a concert, where we got our bus home from. En route home I made the opportunity to permeate her personal self and ask her some questions about her life in Australia and childhood, to which I carved out a decent conversation. I decided to get off at her stop because I needed to eat dinner at a nearby McDonald's and so decided to walk with her along some residential side streets, until she directed me to an alleyway which lead to another street that was suppose to lead to me to the next main road. I was rather off-put trying to go for a hug and kiss at night in a residential street and by the fact her voice began to somewhat tremble as I walked with her. I only went as far as giving her a sensual handshake when I parted.

Do you believe it's okay to withhold expressing intent when you're trying to seduce girls in your social circle and not subject it to the same pressures as cold approach day/night game? There are currently girls in my faculty whom I only get to talk to sporadically and don't build enough rapport within a given time frame to ask them out on a date, which I'm currently looking to improve.
