Went to a club and didn’t drink a single ounce of alcohol.

Approaches: 0 Hard Eye Contacts / Smiles: 10+ Confidence: 100

Result: I felt genuinely confident and because I wasn’t drinking I had fun dancing and vibing to the music. But still couldn’t even approach the girl who said ‘Hey’ to me while passing by.

Since I was completely sober, I tried to find the reason of my approach anxiety and I think it comes from this insecurity that I’m all alone in the club.

I was bullied in school and I had very few friends. I felt like an outcast and so I subconsciously want to avoid that judgment. Can’t afford therapy. Any advice on how fix this?
