Heading out for a solo hike later today and mulling over my pickup approach. Current plan: is to wear some neon to peacock and stand out. For the opener, I’ll flash a big smile and casually ask for water.

After I take a sip and we make some more prolonged eye contact, I’ll playfully tease her about looking lost - just a light neg. Then I’ll demonstrate higher value with my compass and insider trail knowledge.

Now most important: the close, I’m thinking of using a time constraint, like “I’d love to stay and chat, but I’ve got a sunset to catch at the peak.” It leaves a bit of mystery. And, if the body language vibe is right, I might also then throw in a future adventure projection, suggesting a cool rock formation close by we could check out together.

Let me know if any tips before I head out. I know this sounds overly ambitious but I’m pretty good looking, looking for a challenge and a good story.
