I really enjoyed this book, evidenced by the fact that I read it in 3 days. Call me verysmart, but I was so active and involved in every part of of Models, which I can't say for very many books. While reading, I took the liberty of underlining and notating a lot of what I found significant or important. I am not sure how to format this, but I'll try my best. In the end, this is a tool for myself to review and internalize Manson's advice. None of this is verbatim, but rather adopted into my own words.

  • Don't live to impress anyone, ever.
  • Respect everyone and never judge a girl before meeting her; however, always respect and prioritize yourself over others.
  • Have boundaries. Do not let others trample over you, your beliefs, or what/whom you care about. Be able to say no (especially to girls); don't be passive in your interactions nor a yesman.
  • Never invest more time/energy into a person than they do you; doing so shows others you value others more so than you do yourself, which is not attractive to women, nor good in general.
  • Be authentic, genuine, and meaningful in whatever you say or do- exhibit your true self.
  • A girl can't be comfortable or confident in you if you lack such traits in yourself.
  • Be confident and steadfast in your body language, language, eye contact, what you say/do etc.
  • Ignoring or repressing your anxieties and fears only exacerbates them (as with approaching); accept and embrace your apprehension(s), and you'll find acting in spite of it/them will actually be exhilarating and empowering.
  • What you say in conversation is subsidiary to what it actually communicates (through intent and other things like body language and touch).
  • Women are generally more psychologically aroused (whereas men are physically), and, thus, find dominant, assertive, and unwavering men infinitely more attractive.
  • Ultimately, you have to acknowledge that women are no different from men. No means no. In the end, by rejecting you, they are only saving you time and energy and allowing you to find someone that is compatible for them.
