Seduction is largely BS, in the way of thinking that “game” can make up for being not physical attractive, short, bald or w/e.

It will help a little bit of the time improve your odds. Like if you read up on stocks before you invest. Same thing. You might have a 15-20% better chance of achieving your goal with women after joining these threads.

I'd say it's a mix. I found the sub when I was starting college, and it allowed me to reinvent myself (I went out-of-state for college). I then had a lot of success with women, and became a mod, for several years.

As of now, I'm 27, my girlfriend is 53, and we've been dating for 4 years. There were various shenanigans going on with r/seduction in general at the time, so I'm not a mod anymore.

Either way, it's a mix. My girlfriend wouldn't still be with me if she didn't still find me "attractive" in general (I mean non-physically). But I feel like I'm now seeing even more posts from guys who really need some help with interaction/confidence, which is disheartening, but also enlightening, in a way -- they're willing to talk about issues, instead of just staying silent, like I did for most of my life.

Much of it is 'fake.'

One thing you might come to realize is that much of the "real world" is fake as fuck, and sometimes you have to embrace that.

It's partly a numbers game, but also partly a matter of realizing what qualities you like, what qualities you don't like, and improving your skills in persuasion, calibration, empathy, etc.
