This is probably gonna sound a bit ranty, but bare with me, I promise it's worth it.

We live in a society where there is a "how-to" guide for EVERYTHING. How-to cook, be confident, play a sport, be organized, etc. This can be a great thing and I definitely don't want to discount the value of others' example, however at some point you gotta make your own "how-to" guide.

Nobody is gonna make you more confident, more social, more attractive, etc, only you can do it and only you can find the way to achieve what you want. The problem with "how-to" guides is that they overlook the subjective elements in learning how to do something. Perhaps you learn better through experience, better through reading, better through self-reflection, the options are endless. The only way you are going to find out is if you know what works best for you and to have the faith to follow through once you discover it.

Overall, I really just want to emphasize the importance of trusting your plan for giving your best in life. I got caught up in reading too many "how-to" guides and never took the time to realize that a how-to guide was never going to connect the dots in my specific situation. That's what confidence is at the end of the day, trusting that you will give your best in a situation and that you will achieve success or live with the results either way. Best of luck out there yall, keep grindin!
