22 y/o, just turned recently. Not much experience behind my belt even in terms of approaching, but if you followed or remember my recent post - got flaked and she ended up sending snaps about her going to a party next week as a reason why she will be busy to reschedule.

From the comments I received, apparently that’s common, and I cba for that, but at the same time, I want sum fuk and a potential teammate, but I really can’t be fucking arsed to give attention and waste time on potentially encountering a bitch like that again (yes she flaked, that alone wasn’t a deal breaker if she tries to reschedule, but to send a snap of her buying stuff for a party after saying she’ll be busy next week was a really shitty move to me).

Few people I’ve discussed this with ended up saying “and then people are surprised by some men being ‘assholes’ according to them” (this didn’t come only from people my age, but my mum as well lol, yes me and my parents have a fairly open chat about majority of things, they want the best for me), and I honestly started to think that it’s either “play or get played”, meaning - don’t get attached, treat everything as a hook up/fwb, wait for them to do their move afterwards.

Thing is, I think I’m just too nice. I genuinely try to get to know people and have varied topics, from light hearted to deeper serious topics. I’m not being nice like the nice guy nice, just a person who isn’t a social imbecile, at least mostly lol. Because of that, I think I focus too much on being a friend rather than potential partner/sex, any advice regarding this? Should i just be more up front? If so, how?

Edit - also, I’ve been thinking whether I should just openly start saying that “not really looking for a girl right now, cba” or something along those lines, as a way of playing this shitty game that seems to be a necessity.
