[The following are notes I wrote several years ago. They’re based on the ‘M3 Model’ from the book, The Mystery Method. At the time, this book helped me a lot.]

Romantic relationships typically have three phases:

  • Courtship
  • Sexual relationship
  • Breakdown.

Courtship begins by meeting. A sexual relationship begins when you’ve had sex. The breakdown of the relationship results from a break in communication or lack of common interest in the relationship.

Technical game focuses on the process of courtship, which lasts from the moment one person sees the other until they have sex.

There are three phases of courtship:

  1. Attraction: based on social value, (the esteem you receive from other people); pre-selection, (the degree to which other women see you as attractive); and, physical signs of genetic health (such as facial symmetry, height, and muscularity).
  2. Comfort: Building rapport through creating comfort and connection, leading toward intimacy.
  3. Seduction: Generating sexual arousal and establishing the necessary preconditions for sex to occur.

Each of the phases corresponds to a set of necessary emotions.

  1. Attraction: She has to feel like his value is higher than hers.
  2. Comfort: She has to feel both comfortable with him and like she’s earned his attention.
  3. Seduction: She has to feel aroused by his touch without excessive awkwardness or embarrassment.

Likewise, they often occur in line with changes of locations.

  1. Attraction: The place two people meet. The street, nightclub, party, workplace, etc.
  2. Comfort: The place where they can get to know each other and chat a bit. It could be a cafe, the smoking section, another room, or a bar.
  3. Seduction: Ending at a place where sex can happen.
