Girls are not used to being rejected. In today's society, females are the buyers while the males are the sellers. For every female, there are at least 5-10 males texting/talking to her, trying to get a date. They have the choice which ones to have sex with, not the other way around. Being rejected thus is a relatively new concept to them.
