Shit happens sometimes, doesnt sound like youve done anything to scare her off. Your plan sounds good. Test the waters before suggesting a meet up again. Its important to text a little in between hanging so the girl knows you like talking to her. Recently hd a situation with a girl that would text me first almost every day and I would be really slow to get back to her. Eventually she told me she thought I was using her for sex, somewhat true lol but the point is text her if it seems like shes interested in just texting.

At this point I stop texting and do one phone call a week until hard rejection or I lose interest. (The later is rare if I've had one good date.)
I've had several girls who took months or years to score the second date with. But all have turned out to be worth it.
If you are using this method, steal yourself against rejection. Most girls who stop answering actually want to soft reject you and you won't win back. As you are seeing other people, you have no attachment to the outcome and so hard rejection when it comes shouldn't hurt too bad. You aren't for everyone just as not everyone is for you.

Give it a few days and start a conversation how she is going and ask her out again.
keep asking her out if you dont have any better options right now. Make it fun though.

There's a lot more going on here than texting. From what you wrote, I'm assuming you didn't kiss her on the first date. After that, she flakes on you and you just offer up another time; a weekend at that. I'm not condoning the battle mindset here, but you should set some boundaries. If a girl flakes, call her on it; your time is valuable, right? Right now, you're every nice guy she's gone on a date with. There's no tension.

We kissed, we didn't make out. Sort of a mechanical good bye from us both. There was a lot of kino from both of us, specifically in the car to and from the venue. Definitely need to escalate more if date 2 comes around. I hear what you are saying. I should have called her on flake 1. She seemed into me and continued to text after the initial flake. I guess I got a little comfortable with the situation and let my guard down.
