Neediness comes from who you are, rather than specific actions.

If you came across as a solid, non-needy guy on your date, texting her next day won't suddenly seem needy.

Yeah calling gives u more control, its not about how long u take to call or text. Its about keeping her guessing where u stand, coming off as busy impt, and not desperately into her. Make it seem likes shes chasing u and u r the prize not vice versa. Tough to master, takes a lot of studying and practice.
