Could a lame text like that ruin the attraction that was built?

Stop every negative feeling you have based on texts before they ever cause you to act.

This is something I've drilled into myself over and over, and you should too!

Basically, let's say I had a great time with a girl, then we text and she doesn't respond. I start to freak out, then I message her. Then message her some more. Now she leaves the emergency room and reads that I've sent her 30 texts complaining that she won't respond, meanwhile her brother has a broken leg and arm.

What would've happened if I didn't let me insecurity get the best of me? She would've sought comfort from me, instead I alienated her during a time of need that I could've been there during.

Different scenario, maybe I make a bad joke, then I apologize thirty times and I'm mortified. She's not responding! Why isn't she?

types an angry text: Damn bitch, lighten up....

Meanwhile, she's been laughing and thinks I'm hilarious, then I call her a bitch because of my insecurities!

Etc, etc, etc.

Don't act based on negative emotions.

I wouldn't think a lame text would do it but I'd definitely advise you to ease off and only text if you have a specific reason. Don't text her all the time as it makes you seem like you don't have other options.

It takes time for women to like you, it also takes time for them to not like you. It's not just black and white like that. Now if you made a series of mistakes and didn't get the hint, that's different.

One cheesy text isn't ruining it for you. I feel like you are texting too much. When you don't hear back from her, what do you think she is trying to say? More than likely it's 'okay im busy or we've talked enough.' Just chill man, be centered, focus on what you're doing and wait for her to come back into your orbit. Trust me on this. Don't text her back. Wait til she contacts you. She needs to know that you are busy and you have options. The phone should really be about setting definite dates. Let her friends chat her up all day plus you can be more mysterious in that sense. If you have told her everything, where is the mystery? It's like reading a good book, when you're done, that was great but now I want to read something else. See what I mean? Be patient and wait for her to get back to you. Best of luck!

OP, you or anyone else might be able to help out with this, but I have texting anxiety in the opposite sense. I.e. I get the number and never text, and end up overanalyzing that I took the long and the attraction has died, when it's only been a day, and a day turns into a week, etc. Wisdom on here is to only text to make plans, but what sorts of things would you text someone who's number you have and are either trying to keep a connection or try to start it back up after not talking, besides the "how's your day going"?
