Texting kills me.

I have no problems on initiating a convo, doing kino, getting numbers, taking her to a date and yeah, the basic... But I suck so hard trying to keep them on the hook. I've lost 2 girls in 6 months just by being incredibly shit at texting.

Learning the hard way I guess.

Texting is like a minefield, one wrong interpretation of what you wrote, and its going to blow up in your face. People tend to interpret what has been written, based on their expectation and their current mood. So it should be used for just conveying information, rather than feelings. Though it is possible to build a image of yourself in the readers mind, but this is very hard and most likely ends in dissapointement on the readers end, du to the fact that there is a lack of bodylanguage, tonality etc. that will create a vacuum that will be filled by the readers mind. Sometimes with their wishes, sometimes with their fears.
