What is up, players! It's your boy Vitamin Duke, operator of the official Seddit IRC cummunity (#reddit-seddit on Freenode, check out the side bar for more info) here once more! I'm finally back from vacation, back in field and hitting it up hard. Making friends all over the place, gettin the girlies in line and getting back in the swing of things. I'm here to share with you a little game I created to help me overcome limiting beliefs, sharpening my reframing skills (The ultimate tool in the MPUA arsenal) and have some FUN.

WARNING: It is difficult to play this game while being uptight or 'butthurt,' as they say on the street.

BACKSTORY

When I was an 'average frustrated chump,' I was deathly afraid that girls would find out I was a NERD. If they found out I liked chess\anime\yugioh their arousal would suddenly dry up and I'd be dropped into the friend zone like a hot potato. Eventually, I met guys who were successful with women AND some of the biggest nerds I've ever seen. We're talking D&D Dungeon Master levels of nerd. ("3.5 only, none of that World of Warcraft shit." in their own words.). That was when I came up with.......

THE ROCKSTAR FRAME

The Rockstar frame is simple: What if you could present your limiting belief as if it were the coolest fuckin' thing on Earth? What if you could talk about attending the anime club at your college as if it were as amazing and panty-wetting as being a roadie for Motorhead?

What I've found is that, even when I'm talking about something as simple as being in the Chess Club, which is not an attraction builder or killer as it isn't directly tied with survival & replication social value, with the enthusiasm and passion I would talk about climbing everest or playing bass with the Rolling Stones I could turn even my most limiting beliefs into a demonstration of CONFIDENCE and social value.

Imagine how someone really confident, relaxed, and passionate about their lifestyle would describe their passions and hobbies to someone else. Imagine taking that tone of voice, that eye contact, and those mannerisms and applying them to being short, or collecting Thor comics or whatever thing about you that you used to think would turn girls off. Now go out and try it a few times!

I have dubbed this the ROCKSTAR FRAME GAME in response to my friend Hank whom told me "Duke, dude, you make playing Yu-Gi-Oh sound like being a Rockstar," while I was discussing a YGO tournament with a two-set.

PERCEPTION vs logic

Game is all about PERCEPTION. To an extent, it doesn't matter if something is 'cool' or 'alpha' or 'high value,' as long as it is perceived as such. This is something that has fascinated, disturbed and confused people for quite some time. Most PUA methodology is really just about creating the perception of high social value or emotional arousal. The ROCKSTAR frame game both takes advantage of perceptions, and helps you make the perceptions genuine. You can turn your limiting beliefs into your sharpest, pussy-slaying tools if you're willing to have fun with them and start seeing potential utility, instead of gloom and doom.

and please don't ask me how my chess game is I'm secretly awful :)
